Directed by James Doherty and written by Natalie Burt, ‘The Final Countdown’ is ultimately a “celebration of love and family”.

It’s young star Archie Lyndhurst, only 9 years old during filming in 2011, won Best Actor at Children’s IFF Wales in 2022. Paul plays retired judge and aspiring writer, stuffy Great Uncle Geoffrey.

In Berlin, Ticker was 1 of the 8 out of 150 British Shorts to be nominated for the Jury Prize.
As an Official Selection of London Short Film Festival it was screened at the Curzon Soho on 26th January where directors, including Thom Petty were invited to introduce their film.
Ticker will screen at the Manchester International Film Festival 2024 on 23rd March.
